As for cost, this too is confusing. Access to Work won’t cost you anything if your employee has been with you for less than six weeks or if you have less than 50 employees. It might cost you something if you have more employees (20% of the costs of any adjustments required up to a max of £500 or £1000 depending on the size of your organisation).
Additional adjustments that you choose to implement may of course cost you money but I think it’s important to reiterate that for the most part adjustments do not cost your organisation very much at all, if anything. The financial return on the performance gained far outweighs the cost.
